Hello Newport Beach, California! On Thursday, September 29th, we hosted a grand opening event at our newest location, ALEX AND ANI Fashion Island. Excited guests lined up outside the store to be among the first to socialize, shop, and celebrate. 15% of proceeds were donated to Wags and Walks.

Wags and Walks is a 501C3 non-profit organization based in West Los Angeles dedicated to rescuing family-friendly dogs from shelters and finding them safe and suitable permanent homes through adoption, advocacy, and education. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians, and trainers, they are able to rescue over 700 dogs a year and provide them with loving temporary care while finding them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.
Grand opening festivities kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony with The Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, and the Vice President of Fashion Island, and Foster Coordinator of Wags and Walks. The ceremony was followed by a live DJ, Sugarfina® Candy Bar, and refreshments.
